PHASE II- PLANNING MEETING
LAKE MITCHELL, AL
July 10th thru 12th
The REGION VII PHASE II - PLANNING MEETING will be held at George Jackins' lake house at lake Mitchell, AL. and is open to all members of ASHRAE, especially those from Region VII. Due to budgetary constraints, only a few positions have their transportation costs covered. (DRC, Assistant DRC, the 4 Regional Vice-Chairs, Historian, RECC, Regional Refrigeration and Program Chairs, Region VII Nominating Committee Member & Alternate, DAL's and Current-year CRC Chair). George Jackins will advise everyone who attends if they will stay in either a lake house (at no cost) or at a local motel (paid for by the individual).
The objective of this planning meeting is to determine how Region VII can improve its support and service to our 13 Chapters and 1 section.
Weekend activities include:
Friday Evening: Nominating Committee items
- Review of nominations initially submitted by Chapters & addition of names for consideration by Chapters
- Review of Honors & Awards nominations
- Identification of candidates from other Regions that Region VII should support for Society positions
Saturday:
- Review of last year's Regional Activities (5 minutes each)
- Regional MBOs - DRC/ARC
- Regional Vice-Chairs - 4 RVC's
- Regional ECC- Victor Mills
- Regional Historian- Ron Nall
- Regional Nominating Team
- Budget Update: Hallstrom
- Travel Vouchers
- CRC (1 hour)
